A major aspect in a speargun is the handle. A lot of load is placed on the handle when tracking, aiming & firing the gun. Without a proper & comfortable grip, the hands can weaken quickly and quite possibly missing your target. The Nile-Tec handles are ergonomically crafted to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand with extra scratch marks to enhance gripping control without much effort. Made from quality teak wood, handles come coated with marine grade epoxy……or uncoated according to customer’s request. Ideal for Euro style guns and US mid-handle spearguns. *Mounting screws included.
The Speargun handle has a direct impact on tracking, accuracy and distribution of recoil.
Most of the weight required to balance & ballast any Speargun properly is usually placed either towards the handle, muzzle or both.
For tracking & firing, a Speargun handle must deliver extreme leverage over the stock; especially for Euro style Spearguns that are usually held with one hand.
Made from 316 grade stainless steel, the Nile-Tec Handle displaces the diver’s hand at an ideal angle to the stock that maximizes his ability to move the Speargun in a vertical direction.
The finger groves design & displacement allow maximum leverage during horizontal tracking.
Both these design elements reduce the impact of recoil on the palm of the hand; improving accuracy & stability of the stock.
The trigger guard integrated in the handle frame is 8mm thick; providing proper protection for the trigger against accidental firing.
You can select between a regular base and a narrow base handle depending on your stock dimensions
