 Building on the experience developed by the highly valued fins Boomblast, we developed a new blade with Adaptive Curvature, optimized for swimming on the surface and for apnea at medium depth.

With the Boomblast series, Salvimar has set new standards in terms of performance and reliability of composite fins, giving to the fans a new tool to live their own passion with a greater level of comfort and safety.

How is the Boomblast Blade made?

It is made up of different layers in carbon fiber Tw-K03, with elastic modules which are calibrated and placed in stiffness progression. The thickness of only 0.6 mm in the tail end is made to reduce the tractive and compression effort on the two faces of the blade, keeping the necessary flexibility also in the terminal areas. You shouldn’t be surprised by this dimension: the incredible structural compactness may carry heavy strains keeping the same elastic response of a spring without breaking.

Thanks to the mechanic press process for polymerization to 250atm and the particular nature of the resin, the final material shows a surprising compactness!
